I read this book and its really interesting, with so much details defining birds of different species. It teaches you why different species of birds have different type of feathers and the reason for it. You also learn skeletal and musculature of different bird species which is very important why different types of birds have plumage to be a predator or simply a normal feeding bird. One of the interesting things with birds are there eyes, an Eagle has very powerful eyes so that from a great distance they can see there prey. Different leg structure, bills and beaks of different species of birds and why they have it to suit there environment. These are the type of things this book highlights and bring to the fore. It also highlights the development of birds when hatched out from an egg and from its infancy to full adult. All these and much more to interest any bird enthusiast.As a beginner whose interest might be on different type of birds I'd recommend this book as a great starter for them.
