I find this book helpful because it offers clear explanations how and why menu items relate to the real world way photographers use their camera. Many of the camera's features may be important to one photographer, but not another. This book clearly helps me decide which camera settings I need to use.
This short guide will help you set up the G9 but.. you should also get the 340 page full manual to see all of the details of this camera.
Critical book to help set up the menus and to understand clearly how to configure the camera. I have the same book for the GH5 and it was also very helpful.
This book goes through the many menu items, explains the options and then recommends setting to get you quickly using your Lumix G9. This book will save you time and, potentially, frustration.

The book was informative but it needed a more examples and clarification.For example, it talks about the flash menu mode but doesn’t, in my opinion, clearly state what the terms mean.
You will never be able to decipher or work thru the infinite options of settings without this book.
