A majority of poems were quite adorable. Will be creating a blog post of some of my favorites. Definitely recommend reading this book. Might even suggest using it on a loved one or a crush.
I enjoyed these simple and beautiful poems. It was well worth the $.99. The proverbs were familiar but not in boring kind of way. A great way to kick off 2019!
I love the book, however I thought it would be bigger. I can fit it in my back pocket with room left over.
Some nice poems here, It would have been good to know the years attributed to them. Same for the proverbs..
This is a lovely short collection. It would have been nice to have some context but it’s still a charming read.
The is a very enjoyable ebook. It's filled with short African poems and proverbs about love.The author C.W. Leslau lists the name of a place or the language like Swahili, Madagascar, along with each poem and proverb. One of my favorites is"Love is like young rice: transplanted, still it grows."
I write a little myself, loved this!!The heartfelt sentiment shared in poetry is good for all souls to enjoy.
