Definitely worth reading! I find this book very interesting – was hooked even more than some of the earlier books I have read which were on fiction. The stuff described felt very vivid and I could definitely visualise a lot. With an improved memory, one can definitely achieve a lot of things when they have a better memory. In my case, I find work a lot easier remembering what task I needed to do first and to link things up in sequence. All it takes is understanding how something works and practicing to make it work (can even be done on the move!). There is no such thing as a bad memory imo, just less drive to learn how to improve it (unless you happen to be 80 and bordering on dementia, thankfully I’m just under that benchmark).
Photographic memory is a very important type of visual memory. A person with a well-developed photographic memory remembers everything in the smallest detail. There are some people who are given this type of memory from birth, but most often photographic memory needs to be developed using special techniques through regular training. I’ll try to develop my photographic memory by practicing exercises described in this guide.
