This book offers a comprehensive look at the field and is perfect for newbies (like myself) who want to know more about improving their lives. I am recommending it to all of my friends who work in the healing world. I especially enjoyed the way the authors shared their personal journeys. The importance of sound healing in today's world also is addressed beautifully by Tammy. I really enjoyed this life-changing book.
The author makes a strong argument for connecting musical sounds with the human body and the universe. Excellent book I love it
This book has power in three realms. 1) It is an informative and compelling story of a woman's journey. 2) It provides solid history and theory of sound and music. 3) And, for those in the healing and helping professions, it outlines how sound and music can lift the spirit and heal the body and soul.Flicka is a high school classmate but even if I never encountered her I'd have loved this book. I love music but have no particular musical aptitude. I now appreciate music all the more as will you.
